1. Initial Consultation
We begin with a conversation to understand your goals, timeline, and the scope of the estate. This allows us to assess the property, discuss expectations, and recommend the best approach for your situation.
2. Preparation & Organization
Preparation time varies based on the size and complexity of the estate, typically ranging from a few days to a couple of weeks. During this phase, we organize, research, price, and stage items to ensure they are presented thoughtfully and effectively.
3. The Estate Sale
Most estate sales run one to three days, depending on inventory and buyer demand. We manage all aspects of the sale, including staffing, pricing adjustments, and customer service, to ensure a smooth and well-run experience.
4. Completion & Proceeds
Estate sale services are generally offered on a commission basis, with proceeds calculated and distributed promptly following the sale. Alternative fee structures may be available and are always open for discussion to best meet your needs.
5. Closing the Estate
After the sale, we assist with next steps as needed, whether that includes item removal, donation coordination, or preparing the home for its next chapter.
